Job Description
Assist customers and field staff by providing technical phone support on a broad range of clinical diagnostic instrumentation associated with autoimmune, infectious, disease, diabetes, and transfusion product lines. Technical Support Engineer provides a wide range of information, from general questions to extensice troubleshooting of instrumentation, to Bio-Rad customers and field staff. Accurate documentation of all calls is required. Technical Support Engineer provides technical hardware support in a call center environment to customers using Bio-Rad diagnostic products; in addition to on-call support.
Required Skills
Execellent verbal and written communication, organizational skills, problem solving and analytical skills, strong administrative skills required. Logical thinking, ability to multitask and work individually or on a team basic computer skills required, including MS Windows, MS Word, and MS Excel.
Required Experience
EDUCATION: AA/AS degree in electronics or equivalent
3+ years of transferable electromechanical/electronics experience.
Previous field service or technical phone support experience
Experience with transfusion instrumentation preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
