We are searching for a Senior Developer to join our team in our office in Rockaway, NJ. Once you get on board you'll have plenty of opportunity to have a big impact on the technical direction of one of the more nimble and intelligent companies in the digital publishing space, a market that is evolving rapidly every day of the week.
Responsibilities:
Must have --
- 4
years of general, modern web development experience.
- Linux, Git, PHP, Drupal
- Good communication skills
Nice to have --
- MySQL, CSS, JS
- Publishing/Advertising background
- Experience with the Acquia platform
- Custom theming experience, we have a large redesign project coming up this winter
- Custom module experience
- Features experience
- SOLR experience
Super bonus points for any of these --
- Jenkins chops
- SQL chops
- Linux chops
- Serious Drupal chops, front end or back. Or both.
- A passion for optimization
- AngularJS - we were ahead of the headless Drupal curve and have multiple products already in production.
- DFP
- Single Sign On
- Knowledge of analytics, how they work, how they're implemented.
Qualifications:
Candidates with a Github profile and and blog will move to the front of the queue. The hiring process is all about identifying the candidate that will best fit a tight-knit team. Having a presence on the web that we can peruse will boost your signal above the noise tremendously.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
