Position Overview:
The Telecommunications Specialist acts as a communication liaison between end users and IT management concerning cellular and land line adds, moves and changes. The position manages voice and data communications, administration, troubleshooting, purchases and maintenance.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
o Resolve trouble tickets for voice and data issues
o Troubleshoot telephony issues and order hardware or service calls as needed to resolve them
o Work with telecom providers to resolve phone line issues and follow up on issues until resolved
o Provision, de-provision, upgrade and support cell phones for corporate and field users
o Audit cell phone plans and usage, making changes and cancellations as appropriate to achieve maximum savings
o Maintain an inventory of all telephone lines across the enterprise, ordering new lines and equipment as needed and ensuring that any unnecessary lines are cancelled promptly
o Review telecommunications invoices for accuracy, dispute inaccurate charges, and find ways to reduce total spending on telecommunications charges
o Consolidate phone lines and billing, moving phone lines to preferred carriers and working with carriers to consolidate bills for multiple lines
Position Requirements:
o Associate's Degree or related experience - Bachelor's degree preferred
o 4
years background in a telecommunications environment
o Understanding of telephone systems, telephones, wiring, and phone networking
o Strong communication and organizational skills
o Ability to multitask efficiently in order to accommodate end user needs
o Ability to be self-directed and work under little supervisionEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
